Prof.Dr. Ayşegül Ataman She was born in Gaziantep. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Education Special Education / School Psychology and Guidance Department. She under graduated in 1969, graduated in 1972 with a master's degree in the field of education of gifted students, and she completed her doctorate in 1976 about education of the gifted children. In 1983, she was associate professor and in 1989 she took the title of professor in the field of education of gifted students. She has studies in the field of gifted students. She owns AADANEM which is a family counseling center in Ankara. She is a member of The Board of Directors of Turkey Intelligence Foundation and Vice President of the Board of Trustees of TÜZYEKSAV. She is currently the Head of the Department of Special Education at Lefke European University in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. |
Prof. Dr. Uğur Sak Ugur Sak is Professor and the founding director of the Center for Practice and Research on Gifted Education and of the master’s and doctoral programs on gifted education at Anadolu University in Turkey. He also is the founding editor of the Turkish Journal of Giftedness and Education. His research has focused on the identification and education of gifted students and creativity education. He has published many articles both in English and Turkish in major journals of creativity and giftedness. He is the founder of Selective Problem Solving and Creative Reversal Act models and the author of three books on giftedness and creativity written in Turkish. |
Prof.Dr. Elxan Beylerov Prof.Dr.Elhan Beylerov graduated from Mechanical and Mathematics faculty of Baku State University in 1984. His area of expertise has been mathematics and teaching mathematics. He started doctoral study in 2003 and received degrees in two indexes, pedagogy and pedagogical psychology. In 2009 he was granted associate professor by the High Attestasian Commission under the President. In order to get the degree of Prof.Dr. he began researches on "Psychological issues of the development creativity potency of gifted children" in Baku State University. He made a thesis defense in 2013 and was granted professor doctor degree by the High Attestation Commission under the President. In 2005, he became chief of department of the Institution of Education. He has worked as a pedagogy and psychology teacher at Baku State University, Khazar University, Teachers University, In-service training University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in Azerbaycan. In 2010-2014 he worked in the Defense Council of theses. He has been a member of the Expert Council, granting the names and degrees of science, in the High Attestasion Commission under the President since 2005. He is an author of 20 books, 80 articles, and contributed to national and international projects. |
Dr. Jitka Fořtíková She started her educational career as an English teacher. After several years of teaching she finished her PhD. at the Department of Education, Pedagogical Faculty, Palacky University in the Czech Republic. She defended both rigorous and doctoral thesis on gifted education and conducted international research in three countries analysing the school climate perception within the population of gifted students of secondary education. She published several monographs about giftedness and dozens of articles in educational magazines. She devotes her expertise to gifted preschoolers and technology education. In 2005 founded a private NGO – the Centre of Giftedness in Prague. She is the former member of ECHA (in 2008 was a chairman of ECHA conference held in Prague), current member of Mensa and NAEYC (The National Association for the Education of Young Children). She is presently working as Education Specialist in Lipa Learning where she is in charge of curriculum development and in-service teacher training programmes. |
Patrizia Granata Patrizia Granata, who borned in Milano in 1966, graduated from the University of Pauda in education and humanities. She is the general manager of the school "Giacomo Sichirollo" and is responsible for the quality system. In addition to teaching at Pauda University, she also provides technology consulting. |
